Vietjet celebrates Vietnamese Womens Day with many promotions

Vietjet is making Friday a special day for its female passengers while everyone can cash in with the $0 tickets on the international network.

To snare a $0 fare would-be passengers need to move fast, as they are only available from Wednesday, October 18 until Friday, October 20, 2023.

Surprises on Vietnamese Women’s Day

To celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20, Vietnam’s leading independent airline, Vietjet, is offering its $0 fares (excluding taxes and fees) on its international network. This week, from Wednesday until Friday, customers can book international tickets priced from $0 to destinations between Vietnam and various international destinations for travel from November 1 to December 20, 2023.

Customers need only pay the taxes and charges to travel between Vietnam and Australia, India, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Southeast Asia. In addition, passengers who register and apply the booking code (PNR) on the website will receive free E-vouchers worth VND200,000 ($8). To secure these promotions, customers need to book on Vietjet’s website or use the Vietjet Air mobile app to book and pay for their tickets.

The airline also has some surprises in store for some lucky females who travel on a Vietjet flight on Vietnamese Women’s Day. On Friday, female passengers flying with Vietjet have the chance to receive surprising gifts and wishes as the airline “celebrates the beauty and success of women.”

The new routes keep coming

Vietjet continues to expand its global flight network, with new routes recently announced for flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Australia, India and Indonesia. The new destinations are Perth and Adelaide (Australia), Kochi and Tiruchirappalli (India) and Jakarta (Indonesia).

Other recent additions include Hanoi to Hong Kong, Phu Quoc to Busan (South Korea) and Taipei (Taiwan), and various other destinations in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Singapore and Thailand. Vietjet said the new routes provide passengers with numerous unique and interesting activities to enjoy during the year-end festival season.

Vietjet is certainly working its all-Airbus fleet efficiently, with almost all of the 83 aircraft currently listed as in-service. Fleet data from Planespotters.net shows that narrowbody aircraft include 18 Airbus A320-200s, 36 A321-200s and 22 A321neos, while there are also seven Airbus A330-300 widebodies doing medium to long-haul flying.

The narrowbody aircraft are configured in a one-class layout, with the A320-200s having 180 seats, the A321-200s having either 220 or 230 seats, and the A321neos have 230 or 240 seats. The widebody A330-300s all have the same two-class layout of 12 seats in SkyBoss Business and 365 seats in the economy cabin for a total load of 377 passengers.
